Japan Places #1: Tokyo Tower

We were supposed to go to a zoo but it started raining so we've decided to go to Tokyo Tower instead. Well, my mood was like okay, it's raining, we're going to Tokyo Tower, and then what? Honestly, i didn't like the idea. I've talked to several people who have visited Tokyo Tower and most of them says it's boring. Who wouldn't think like that anyway? Sightseeing eh? Anyways, off we go.

It was still raining so hard and windy when we arrived there. As soon as I got off the taxi, I was starstruck. Tokyo Tower is soooo nice and yeah tall haha. We were lucky that we didn't have to pay for Toshiya (my 3-year old son).

Here's a picture of the entrance ticket for the Main Observatory (sorry, it's a bit crumpled already, it was raining remember? haha) :

Here's a picture of Tokyo Tower Guide Book:

The main observatory is somewhere in the middle (I highlighted it with a box hehe), it is 150m above the ground and the one almost at the top is the special observatory, which is 250m above the ground. You have to purchase a separate ticket for the special observatory. We did. I just lost the ticket.
(´;ω;`)ウゥゥ

Here's a brief description of Tokyo Tower from the brochure:

(Height 333m)
The Tokyo Tower is taller than the 320m Eiffel Tower in Paris, making a major landmark in Japan.

(Weight 4,000 tons)
Much lighter that the Eiffel Tower, which weighs 7,000 tons, this is a strong lightweight steel tower.

(Opened in 1958)
This is the year the Brazil won its first soccer World cup and that instant ramen was introduced.

Pretty interesting eh?

I will be posting more pictures in my next post. I'm still trying to figure out how to post pictures easily!! (。´Д⊂) ウワァァァン!

Updating post..

So, what else is inside Tokyo Tower?

Nopponland
This facility is more like a playground for children. Hmm, maybe not only for children because I played here as well!

Some pictures:

Tokyo Tower Wax Museum
There are lots of wax figures here (that's why it is called Wax Museum, ne?). I wonder if I could post all the pictures I took. I find this place very interesting though my son thinks it's scary. He almost cried the whole time we were inside.

Game Center
There is a small game center as well, but I don't have any pictures. Didn't stay there for long.

Tokyo Souvenir Shop Town
Lots of choices for souvenirs from candy and keyholders to unique souvenirs.

Wow, just now I realized that there are still several places I haven't been to inside Tokyo Tower namely Noppon's Magical Dungeon, Space Wax, Guinness World Records Museum and Aquarium Gallery.

I will surely visit Tokyo Tower again to check out those places.

Of course, my post would not be complete if I don't share the pictures of Tokyo Tower from the outside. Okay, I wasn't able to take good pictures because it was raining and it was like very foggy. Ah, I would also upload pictures taken from the observatories both main and special.
